The float in the base controls the auto shut-off function to stop the machine. There may be a slight delay in the shut-off time, but there is no safety concern. Additionally, a red light will indicate when the machine turns off due to a low water level.

Best sleep with a cold
Best sleep I’ve gotten since I’ve been sick. My old humidifier broke so I needed a new one & this thing is amazing. The past few nights even with the old humidifier I’d wake up coughing because of the dry air; not once with this one! It has a large (but not overly large) tank, fits perfectly on the night stand & lasted all night. No issues. The mist vent turns independently, so you don’t need to reposition the entire machine. It’s quiet, & powerful. Super easy to fill, and the light output is minimal. Really great product, great price & it looks modern as well.

Easy to use, very effective, less expensive than similar humidifiers
I am very impressed with how well it works. It has a small footprint, but the tank holds enough water to last the night easily. It is incredibly quiet, yet you can see the cool mist being produced. It has made a huge difference in how well I breathe at night, especially in winter when the dry air always affects my sinuses after I lie down. I got this on a Prime Day special for $15. IMHO, well worth it!

This personal humidifier works well. No smell. Very quiet. The directions for cleaning could be more clear, but it’s pretty easy to clean.One thing to be aware of..you will have to change the water filters & change them often. I have city water but my filter turned brown in 5 days. So I tried distilled water & it still turned brown in 8 days, which is mysterious to me. That seems very quick to need to change a water filter, especially with distilled water! Just be prepared to buy the filters to go with the humidifier.Also, the water reservoir is not as securely sitting on the base as I would like. You will need to keep it away from children. Easy to dislodge from the base.The ability to fill from the top is a plus, though. All in all it’s a decent humidifier and the price is quite good.

Great Simple Humidifier
Smallish size, but not so small that you have to constantly refill. Very simple design, one knob to select level of mist. You can turn to choose which direction the mist sprays. Top fill, easy to reach internal parts for cleaning. VERY quiet. Automatic OFF when empty is a nice safety feature. I currently own two – one for plants and the other for comfortable air in the bedroom overnight.

This little humidifier by Levoit works great in my bedroom! I have a gas furnace that completely drys out the air in the winter and cannot sleep well because of it. Got this humidifier and sleep like a baby. Perfect for my bedroom. Tried it in the living room and it was just too big for this model. But for smaller spaces works great. The unit is super easy to fill. I just pour slowly on top of the cover and no problem. I have one hand so thos is super convenient for disabled person such as me. The selector knob does absolutely work well also. From low to high and everything in between it absolutely does change the flow. 10 for 10 in my view. Very quiet. Automatically shuts off when empty too.

This is a very nice humidifier. It’s quiet, easy to use, and puts out a good amount of air even at the lowest setting. I like that it is a top fill so I don’t have to carry the tank to a sink for refill. We’ve been using this for about a month and having used only distilled water, it’s still just as clean as the first day we started using it. It’s one-knob power and output control makes it easy for my 92-year-old mother to use it. We haven’t use the oil diffuser, but as for the humidifier itself, we couldn’t ask for anything better. At it’s lowest setting it uses about 1/2 gallon of distilled water overnight.

Better than a whole home humidifier and much cheaper!
A dozen years ago my wife and I put in a home humidifier. It never lived up to our expectations. The solenoid was breaking every two years. Then you had to buy filters and those were a pain to replace. Meanwhile it couldn’t get the humidity in the house much higher than the low 20s. We finally gave up.So on a lark I picked one of these up last year. The humidity in the house with the heater and no humidifier was in the teens. I put this on the kitchen counter to see how well it worked. We got low mid 20s for humidity. Encouraged I bought a second one and put it downstairs. So with two of these running we’re sitting at 30-35% in the house which is just under 3,000 sqft. Much more comfortable!These are so quite. Quiet enough that you won’t have trouble sleeping with it in the room. It’s automatic shutoff when it runs out of water means you can fill it up and let it run during the night. A full tank should last you through the night. We generally fill these up in the morning and they last until evening.This works like a dream and for the price it sure beats a whole home humidifier. I recommend these highly.

Great product for the months you can’t open windows or in areas it’s super dry
We have a levoit air purifier so we figured we’d get the humidifier as well. I hate having to keep windows closed and the forced air on but the season leaves us with no choice. This device stops my skin from getting so dry I look reptilian and it stops my nighttime coughing.Pros: VERY easy to clean compared to other humidifiers i’ve had in the past.Easy to operate and quiet – you wouldn’t even know it is operating.Large reservoir means you can run it on auto all night and it cuts in and out as neededCons: I haven’t been able to get the automatic timer function working through the app. It either just turns on and stays on until it runs out of water or doesn’t turn on at all. This is one of the reasons i bought this model- so i could set it and forget it.Aside from that I recommend it, being able to use the app to control it is great when you and your partner keep very different sleeping hours and the reminder to clean it is great too.
