Simple Smart Thermostat That Works Without Breaking the Bank
I bought this Heagstat WiFi thermostat to replace an older non-smart unit in my apartment. I wanted something affordable that still worked with Alexa, and so far, I’m really happy with it.Setup was easier than expected. The wiring was straightforward even with my limited HVAC knowledge, and the app guided me step-by-step. I had it up and running in about 25 minutes. Connecting it to Wi-Fi was smooth—no disconnections so far.The touchscreen is bright and responsive, though not as fancy as Nest or Ecobee. The app control works great when I’m at work on night shifts, letting me tweak the temperature remotely before heading home. It responds quickly, and the scheduling feature is flexible enough for my irregular hours.Build quality feels solid. Buttons are clicky, the unit sits flush, and the white casing blends nicely into my wall. One small gripe: the temperature sometimes reads a degree warmer than my secondary thermometer, but it’s consistent, so I just adjusted for it.For the price, this thermostat offers great functionality without subscription headaches. Perfect for renters or budget-minded smart home users like me.

Very affordable programmable (not exactly smart) wifi thermostat
Very affordable what I would call mostly programmable wifi thermostat. This is strictly 1 stage which means 1 mode of heat on or off, and 1 mode of A/c on or off. If you have a dual compressor heat pump, this model is not the 1 for you. It is very easy to install, they give you a sheet of stickers that you label the wires from the existing thermostat if you are retrofitting. That was gold since the colors don’t always match up.My only issue which is good and bad is the smart life app is required to program it. It connects to wifi and several IoT things use that app now, which is better than a janky custom app. The build on the thermostat is good, and has a nice back plate and you can snap the front right on after you do the wiring. This method is best in my opinion. There is no battery, this thermostat is driven by the 24v hot wire coming from the unit. Overall the price is the selling point, and you can set it up for remote control and set schedules.

Not worth the hassle, unless you don’t really need the app.
no app means not programable. I got this thinking would integrate with other things I have that use the Smart Life app, well I was wrong, I cannot get this to connect to my internet which means I cannot program it. It also seems to be off on temperature which says can calibrate that but since will have to send back due to no app. Yes I was using 2.4, I also tried the EP and the AP, for hours. Also since this is known to be a problem you would think they would have a reset button, so wouldn’t have to keep popping the front off to do that.

Relatively Inexpensive Wi-Fi Thermostat
This thermostat supports many different setups and the app is easy to use. It’s very convenient not to have to go and mess with the thermostat when you’re feeling warm or chilly. It’s also nice to be able to see if anyone has changed the settings and set-up routines so you never forget to turn up the air when no one is home to save money on your energy bill. If you’re installing this as a replacement for a non-Wi-Fi thermostat, you may need to open your air handler to get a “C-Wire” which is basically just a connection to the negative (-) terminal on the low voltage transformer. Consult a qualified HVAC technician if you’re unsure and ALWAYS turn off power!

Good value
I had some issues setting it up as I didn’t find the directions to be clear. But I did finally get it set up and works good. Nice and clear display. And the app is really nice and convenient. Pretty good value for the money.

Smart home upgrade
This thermostat feels like a modern step up for an older single-stage HVAC setup. The WiFi control works smoothly once connected, letting you adjust temperatures or check the house from anywhere through the app. The interface is straightforward, and the temperature adjustments respond quickly and accurately. The 7-day programming option adds real convenience if you like a set-and-forget schedule. It keeps the house comfortable while helping reduce wasted energy during the week. As long as your system has a C-wire, installation stays simple and predictable.Overall, it’s a clean, reliable way to bring smart control to an older system without overspending, and it performs exactly as advertised.

Awesome wifi thermostat.
We ordered this wi-fi thermostat so we can always have the AC started before we get home. Setup was extremely easy and we have had no issues with the thermostat. We live in Southwest Florida and love getting to come home to a nice cool house. We are able to adjust the temperature at any time from the app and see exactly what’s going on at all times. This is an amazing little thermostat and we are overall very happy with ordering it.
