After my Sengled bulbs stopped working, I decided to try these Tapo TP-Link smart bulbs, and I’m glad I made the switch. Setup was incredibly easy—probably the smoothest experience I’ve had with smart bulbs. Using Alexa, I was able to set up 8 bulbs in less than 20 minutes, and they all connected on the first try without any hassle.The brightness is excellent at 1100 lumens, making them a true 75W equivalent. Rooms that used to feel a little dim are now well lit, and the dimming feature works perfectly for creating different moods. The 16 million color options are vibrant and fun to experiment with, and the white tones range from warm and cozy to bright and cool, which is great for both relaxing and working.Another big plus is that they’re Matter-certified, so they integrate seamlessly not just with Alexa but also with Siri and Google Home. worth the price
worked great. my porch light is hardwired on 24/7 since i had to sacrifice an interior light switch for my interior lights. I didn’t like having it on all the time and those light sensing adapters SUCK. I have it set now to come on at sunset and turns off at sunrise. can even program party light theme lol, pointless but cool feature. cost was great and screwed right in and connected easily.

Ok but not good or great.
The lamps are ok but the blue is kind of a washed out blue and if your home WiFi doesn’t support IPv6 you won’t be able to use these.

this works great with my alexa system, the 75 watt bulbs function unlike the 100w hue lightbulbs that did not work on my light fixture (fan/light). Setting up with challenging at first, but that’s probably because I did not read directions carefully.

Excellent smart bulbs. Bright, responsive, and easy to set up in the Tapo app. Colors look great and the white light is very bright when needed. Works flawlessly with Alexa and Google Home, and Matter support is a big plus. These are now my go-to smart bulbs.

I recommend this, here’s why
It’s easy to set up.You need to download Tapo app from App Store, create an account, have the light switch on and insert, wait for the light blink 3 times. Once you got it on Tapo, open your Alexa or Google Home, and then link the account to it. ( you can find how to in google or YouTube)It’s pretty bright, one bulb is enough for bed room, 2 work great in kitchen, 3 or 4 in living room for that brightness.I use this, it’s so convenient. The weather is getting cold, and it’s hard to pull self out of bed….. by just saying xxx, turn on the light, turn off the light is so easy….. recommend for anybody, even setting this up for your parents, or old ones.

No group theme support and unable to change Timezone after setup
I have another 14 of these bulbs at home and i loved them. Easy to set up and program. It wasnt until i purchased another 6 to travel with due to hotel rooms do not provide lighting that dims at night or early mornings I found 2 big issues.Time Zone – When the bulbs are initially set up they are geo locked to their location for the Circadian settings for Auto mode. So when I set up the bulbs in Florida then travel to Thailand and use the bulbs on Auto mode they are turning on at full brightness at 3AM. There is no way to manually change the Time Zone of the bulb unless a full reset is performed and set up again losing all settings. The Tapo cameras do not have this problem and are allowed to change the Time Zone easily from the Device Info setting.Theme – Unable to group bulbs into a Theme. Even though there is a group setting for the bulbs to control them all at once with color and brightness, the theme options which allow the bulbs to randomly change colors was left out of the group setting. Each bulb requires the theme to be turned on individually and then the bulbs do not sync up the colors to change at once.

Awesome for Matter Enabled Homes
Put the light in the socket, turned it on, opened Google Home and scanned the bar code sticker in the box. Done.No additional third party apps or accounts needed.It throws a lot of light. I can put two in my ceiling lamp and it feels like the sun. Claims to be a 75 watt equivalent. I’d say it’s plenty of light for most things.Can also dim and change both color and color temperature. I told Google to turn my kitchen light blue and it did. Features all work in automation too.At roughly 10 us dollars per bulb, it’s a little pricey for a light bulb, but way cheaper than a dimmable smart plug and surprisingly entertaining.Feels like a plastic light bulb in terms of quality. I had zero fear when installing.Seems to be standard in size to the common household light bulb.I can’t speak for durability as I just turned it on and off a few times, but it did work, flawlessly with Google Home, out of the box, so it’s a winner.10/10. Will buy again.

La calidad es muy buena. No estoy seguro que efectivamente el CRI sea 90+, pero definitivamente si es mucho mejor que otras opciones populares. La conectividad super bien, no he tenido ningún problema para controlarlos con Alexa, Google Home o la aplicación de los focos. Me encanta la opción de controlar la velocidad con la que encienden y apagan. Los colores bastante bien, y la temperatura de luz bastante bien (hay focos que en blanco cálido dimmeado se ven horribles). Los recomiendo al 100

Ho reso il prodotto perché la confezione era stata aperta e una delle due lampadine era stata usata.Inoltre il prezzo è alto.La gestione del reso è stata perfetta. Con i messaggi con il fornitore abbiamo chiarito tutto e si sono prodigati per gestire al meglio la restituzione (negli USA).
