Assembly Headache, Unsecured Attachments
The initial assembly of the organizer went smoothly, but attaching the side components was quite frustrating. The side basket is only secured to the organizer with two silicone clips, which are not large enough to hold it securely in place. As a result, a noticeable gap exists between the basket and the organizer. When the unit is picked up, the basket falls off. This was to be expected given the way it is attached.Additionally, the pen holder on the other side is disappointing. It doesn’t match the photos in the advertisement and is only secured by a single clip, which allows it to rest on the organizer without any real support. The second clip on the holder does not attach to anything; it simply exists without purpose. Additionally, I only received one large pen holder instead of the two that were supposed to be with the kit.Once the main unit was assembled, the directions became less helpful. The illustrations are small, making it initially unclear how to work with the various pieces. Additionally, no descriptive guidelines are provided. For example, I had to rely on small dots to guess where to place the clips on the bottom of the organizer.On the positive side, the organizer is sturdy and held together by screws, albeit quite small. Overall, assembling the organizer proved to be a frustrating experience. Each piece should function as intended, but not necessarily rely on them being attached for stability and easy function.
