Don’t skip on the portable sound machine
The portable rest go has be the most underrated thing from my registry so far, got it just because the bundle was a good deal and my friends had talked up the original hatch light a ton. My baby is now 8 weeks, and of course every baby is different, but turning up the volume of wave/static sound has instantly sooths my little one. If he is screaming because he is tired, won’t latch because he is too busy yelling I turn on the sound machine he is soothed can latch and falls straight asleep. In the car in his car seat and hit traffic so the car is stopped turn up the sound instantly mellowed and stops crying. Going for a walk in his stroller again instantly mellowed out. This little thing has been the life saver I didn’t know we needed, it’s like a personal portable baby whisperer.

LOVE THIS!!!!
I love this thing!! I got it for my baby but since she’s not due until November I’ve been using it in my room for myself. I love the lights on it and different options. Also the MANY different sounds and settings! I may get an extra one for myself when I do end up putting it in her room. I’ve seen other reviews about using it for children to know when its time to get up and such and LOVE that idea! When my baby is older I will definitely do the same!Overall its absolutely great! Definitely helps me sleep better and I love that it has the time display and that its touch sensitive to turn on/off & to quickly have it go to my programmed settings without having to get on the app.I highly recommend! WORTH IT!
Bought this for our daughter who is expecting. She was so excited she started her free trial as soon as she got it and the baby isn’t due for another SIX WEEKS…so wait until after the baby is home to do that! 🙂 It’s really cool. the travel hatch is bigger than I though…I thought it was going to be like one of those air tag things, but its a great size! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND buying the bundle with both. Friends of mine have children and grandchildren who are still using their Hatch for kids that are 5, 6, 7 yrs old so you will be using it for years!

I feel like this new model of the sound machine doesn’t get as loud as the previous one but still overall a great product. The app is easy to use. The travel sound machine holds its charge for a long time.

Worth It!
My husband and I love this sound machine combo. The portable machine was great for the hospital our first few nights, and has since been used on trips and is so nice to have for other rooms in the house where the Hatch (plug in one) is not. The hatch sound machine in our babies room is perfect for night time feeds! It gives off enough light to see but not to disturb our sleeping baby. I love that you can control it from your phone so you can turn it on before you walk into the room – also the sounds are fabulous and help my little one sleep. The preset schedules (that you create for the Hatch) are super great as well so you don’t manually have to mess with the lights and sound each time – you can just tap the top of the Hatch.

Love the functionality
Love this for my baby, the brightness is adjustable for nighttime feedings. The sound is adjustable and the size is perfect for my nightstand. This is very functional for in the house or on the go. A great value for the money.
