Sore muscles today- but standing straighter
Works as promised. I started out wearing it for 10-15 minutes and got sore muscles… but I stand taller and straighter. As I increased the time I find my posture has improved a lot.

This product is the most comfortable I have had yet. The arm straps are comfortable. Only thing is I have a bit of a tumblers hump so the back rod is visible through a suit coat. But it all helps and is making a marked difference. My partner of 8 years said “I did not realize how tall you are,” while I wore the back brace for the first time.

It works as promised
It is kind of difficult to keep the part that goes over the shoulder and under the armpits neatly passing over. It folds and curls into a rope ending up being a bother. One has to try keeping it straight by trying to unwrap it. Otherwise, it keeps my back on the straight and makes me feel a.lot better than when I don’t have it on. It gave me so.much relief, you would not believe it, only within two days of wearing it.

WEAK VELCRO & harder than it looks.
UPDAE TOO! I had some work being done at the local seamstress. TOday I took the brace in and asked her about the velcro. SHE FIXED IT ON THE SPOT FOR FREE! Literally…her compassion was really cool as she said, “you should not wait for your back…I will fix it right now.” Then she wouldn’t take money for it. All she did was sew on a three inch piece of new velcro beside the factory piece on the ends of the straps. PROBLEM SOLVED! I can’t even push the straps to come loose now if I try. Wearing the brace and really noticing the difference.So buy it. Figure out how to work the straps. But by all means…don;t settle for cheap-o corner-cutting. Go get some velcro sewn on there.UPDATE. After two weeks, the velcro fails very fast. It is not working out and does not stay fastened. CHEAP materials and not enough velcro. Now unusable and a waste of too much money for the quality.The video does not show how to arrange the straps and run them to fit properly. The instructions are complete dogcrap.It takes a bit to figure out. Don’t let anyone fool you.Lay it out face down and imagine draping the straps forward over your shoulders…you can see how they won’t cross across the back with the vecro on the proper side. So you have to turn the strap halfway. Don;t do it up by the shoulder or you will never figure out how to put it on.Turn the strap over at the bottom just before crossing it over throough the loop on the back. Be aware…it is velcro…so it is not easy to slip through the loop without it catching on the vest and pissing you off. So be patient and expect it. Then you can temporarily stick the velcro to the waist straps til you get the thing on.Pick it up without moving it around and you can see how you just have to sorta slip your arm in each side without changing the position or direction of the straps. Once you have the straps run, the only thing to get used to is putting it on.Not easy the first few times. But try it a few times and it gets better as you get used to it. Hopefully.Once you have your arms throough the shoulder straps, sinch the waist straps tight around your gut. Then you have to sort of twist yourself back to grab the hanging straps one at a time. But once you get em, you just pull them around to the front, hold your shoulders way back, then stick the velcro as tight as you feel comfortable.Follow the instructions about wearing it gradually. It may not seem like it, but soon it starts to really feel tight as it pulls your shoulders back. So take breaks.And the waist strap is comfy enough. As a fat guy, it cuts into my gut at the top when sitting at my desk all day. So there is that. You get used to positioning it best for you.Worst part is they cheeped out on the velcro and the cross-straps pop loose all the time while sitting at my desk. Maybe I am fat at 6ft and 225lb. But still, the little pieces of velcro are a cheap move.Hope this helps some other frustrated angry customer who can’t get the thing on!

Been needing this all my life!!
I’ve had bad posture since grade school & it effected my confidence as I was also mocked for it. The first time I wore it for 3 hours was a bit uncomfortable bit that’s because “no pain, no gain” & now I find myself walking straight!! I first wore it wrong & contacted customer services & they get back to me right away and helped me. Don’t wait!! Get this!!! It works!!

Really excellent back brace
I have just had 2 days of spine fusion surgery with a titanium cage for my spine all the way down from T-8 to the tip of my spine. I then had a bad fall, overbalancing from trying to pick up our lovebird off the hardwood floor, and 8 weeks out from surgery, I’m in more pain from the fall than I was after surgery.The hospital had provided a heavy-duty back brace that worked very well initially and which my surgeon’s assistant wanted me to wear again after my fall.I tried but I was just in too much pain with the hospital brace’s metal spine support. Also I don’t think it gave me as much shoulder/upper back posture support as I need.This back brace from Amazon is amazing. It is really well constructed, has metal supports (I’m guessing) in the central spine area, but is comfortably padded and beautifully designed.The shoulder straps are wider than on my hospital brace and give a firm but gentle tug to my shoulders to keep them back and to remind me to stand up straight. It all secures really well with Velcro, but make sure you get the right size for you. (I’m 6′ 4″, 230 lbs, and got an XXL.)Best of all, the brace is so comfortable you can wear it for hours, aware of its subtle “reminders” to your back, and not feel like you’ve been tortured. It’s really comfortable, it gives my spine noticeable support, and I feel better with it on. You can wear this over a T-shirt, under a hoodie, under a blazer, pretty much with anything.I haven’t checked it out with my surgeon or physical therapist yet, but if they have any serious comments I’ll update the review. I totally recommend this back brace. It also came in under 24 hours, which was fantastic given the pain from my fall.

At $8, the saying you get what you pay for never has been more true. If it works it works, if not I guess next time I get a better one. Product is quite flimsy and looks cheesy, comes with no instructions how to use it, I guess you have to use your imagination. The waist part is easier to figure out, the shoulder part not so.
