Every bit as good as Apple’s Magic Keyboard.
I have several keyboard cases on various iPads, including an OEM Apple one, so I have a good frame of reference for these. They all work well but have different pros and cons. So far, this one is by far my favorite. Similar to the original Apple one, this is self-supporting and the angle of the tablet is adjustable, but remains fixed in place once you have positioned it, which is really nice. I find this works better when using it on the couch or in bed. Others have floppy hinges that require you to hold the tablet in place when not seated at a table. It was super easy to Bluetooth pair. It fits perfectly with my 5th gen iPad Air, and feels very high quality, just like an original Apple product. The keys feel and function the same as the Apple keyboard, the trackpad is smooth and responsive, and the color-changing backlight is really cool. I also like that the iPad is protected in a separate case that sticks to the keyboard part magnetically. This is useful when I want something less bulky and don’t need the keyboard. It comes with a USB-C charging cord, which you won’t need to use often because battery life is excellent. Overall, the quality is superb and at well under $100, this is an incredible value and well worth the price.

A Surprisingly High-Quality Keyboard Case Without the Magic Keyboard Price
I’ll admit it: I have a habit of buying new iPad cases whenever I see a variation I haven’t tried yet—especially keyboard cases. After three previous attempts, and my refusal to spend the premium on Apple’s Magic Keyboard, I wasn’t expecting much when I ordered this CHESONA model. But as soon as it arrived, neatly packaged with protective sheeting and a clean presentation, I had a feeling this one might finally be different.My iPad 10th generation snapped into the magnetic protective case effortlessly, and attaching it to the keyboard base felt secure and snug. The keys themselves are raised just enough to give satisfying feedback with every press, making typing much more enjoyable than the flatter designs I’ve tried before. The floating cantilever stand tilts back to a single set angle—something I actually prefer. It’s sturdy, stable, and avoids the wobble you sometimes get with kickstand-style cases.One of my favorite features is how easily the screen detaches. When I don’t need the keyboard, I can pull the iPad away and use it like a regular tablet without any bulk. The magnetic design also lets me orient the screen vertically or horizontally, depending on what I’m doing, which is a huge plus for reading, note-taking, or browsing.Battery life has been excellent, lasting me a full day of use without issue. And the fact that it charges via USB-C just makes the experience even more convenient.Overall, this keyboard case exceeded expectations. Awesome Typing Experience; Mixed Feelings on the Case
The keyboard on this Chesona case is genuinely awesome. Typing feels great, the case feels sturdy, and I really like that the iPad portion can detach from the keyboard section. Charging with USB-C is simple, the battery life has been excellent, and overall it feels like a premium setup when everything is attached.There are a few things that hold it back though. The footprint is a bit heavy and the detachable case is also very basic; I wouldn’t use it as a daily case because it seems made primarily for propping the iPad up vertically rather than actual protection or style.For ninety dollars, I expected a complete premium package. The keyboard portion absolutely delivers but the detachable case feels like an afterthought. If the whole kit matched the quality of the keyboard portion, I’d call it perfect; as it stands, it’s great but overpriced for what you get.

The magnetic case/stand combo is a neat design — it holds the iPad securely but allows you to reposition or change the orientation easily.
